This is an amazing movie. Anyone who knows, loves and researches hip-hop has been happy to discover this film. Along with Style Wars, it is one of the best old-school hip-hop documents ever. I purchased this product only to procure the original Poster art cover of the tape. The image on it is awesome and larger with the puffy-style Disney-sized case. This cover seems lost in time as you never see it on the subsequent VHS tapes or the DVD releases of the film. I couldn’t even locate it on Google image search. I am pleased to have it on my shelf finally!
graffiti on my backpack?

You can read about this movie on all the other reviews. I have nothing to add! I want to promote the 2 videos that helped me really start to dance like this though! How To Do The Robot – Breakdance Instructional DVD or Top 20 Breakdance Moves, both available on Amazon. Check em out so you can dance like they do in this movie!

I see some people saying this movie was not all it was said to have been. But you definately had to have seen this during the early 80’s to relate to it and it was only meant for the people that actually lived in this time era. For most of you seeing it for the first time in 2006, it wont make sense to you and seem outdated. If your recollection of Hip Hop is N.W.A. or the likes, you will know nothing about this movie or relate to it in anyway – this is raw Hip Hop.

Creative persons together with machines give us an idea about the trend of that early ‘80.
We don’ t have to forget that time, we don’ t have to forget that kind of musical revolution!
