I ordered Grffiti World Street Art from Five Continents
but I have not received it?
need some feedback for this story (would anyone like to help)?
I need to complete this story and i’m almost done I just wanted to see if anyone would be willing to read a scene i wrote and give me some feedbackthe scene takes place in a subway between a guy who’s girlfriend just cheated on him. he broke up with her and met this girl named maddy at a concert and walked home with herhere it is,“Ohh so you were a college student, huh?” “Yup, I graduated from NYCU last year.” I said “I use to be a slave too but then I dropped out.” Maddy said as she sat on one of the benches and leaned back on the tiled wall. “So why didn’t you finish?” I asked, “I couldn’t take it anymore. I was doing great in school I was in honors, had a 4.0 GPA, a couple of my professors even told me they’d write me recommendations… but I fucking hated college. I was surrounded by a bunch of un-inspirational people who didn’t possess an ounce of creativity in them. Sure I was a great student but I hated my life. Does any amount of success even fucking matter if you’re not happy?”“The only real lesson I got from college was; Hey remember that die-hard dream you had of becoming a famous painter since you were 7? Give it up and become an accountant for the rest of your life, because that’s a “real” career.” What Maddy said struck a Graffiti Art Lesson Plans chord in me. It wasn’t because I was a graduate from college and I took offence to her opinion. It was because I felt the exact same way… I continued with my college career to satisfy my parents and because society made it out to be a necessity but even though I had accomplished the feat of obtaining a degree, I wasn’t satisfied at all. Maddy stood up and glared at the poster that was above her, I was a plain white poster with nothing but a hot model on it and the words “Forever 21” in bold print. I couldn’t tell what she was thinking. It was like she was trying to burn the picture off the wall with heat vision or something. Then she gripped one of the edges of poster and ripped it, she started to rip the poster off strip by strip. “Maddy, cut it out! You’re gonna go piss someone off and get in trouble for doing something like that!” I said trying to make her stop. She just continued like she didn’t hear a word I said. I noticed there was something under the poster she was ripping, I couldn’t make it out at first but after she ripped half of the poster off the wall I notice there was some graffiti art under it, it was the image of a little girl with a magnificent background behind her. I had never seen graffiti that was so decorated; it almost looked like a picture. Every little thing was so detailed, the girl’s smile was perfect, the colors in the background popped right out of the painting, you could even see the stitching of the girl’s overalls. “It’s still here” Maddy said with a big smile on her face. “You made this?!” “Uh-huh, you like?” “It’s…it’s stunning, she’s beautiful” Maddy look back at me after I said that, I never notice how gorgeous her eyes were until that moment “Who is she?”, “What?”, “Who’s the girl?” Maddy turned back and looked at the girl on the wall“…She’s me” “I should have guessed” I said. I walked up to the poster to examine it better, “But this isn’t all of it, what’s under the rest?” I ripped off what remained of the poster and unmasked the rest of Maddy’s graffiti. It was then that the whole piece was revealed. I was a picture of Maddy holding a fireman’s hand. I turned back to look at Maddy and realized she couldn’t take her eyes off the fireman. “Who is he?” I asked. “Captain Santiago… my Dad” “This portrait is amazing, Maddy. I bet your Dad is really proud of your talent” “I guess he would have been, Dad always told me to never give up on my dreams no matter what the costs. He use to tell me that every day, even on the last day he went to work and never came back.”the scene takes place in a subway STATION not a subway srry lol
