I really like Shepard Fairy’s posters so I had to get this book. I’ve swiped some of his thumbnails for use as avatars on the web and really wanted to see them in print. The book is great and pretty well priced compared to other sites. I wonder if Shepard is disappointed with Obama’s performance at all after producing his iconic campaign poster…

    Great quality book with a cool canvas cover with a nice foil print graphic. The free poster was and awesome surprise and the documentation of the obey giant and where it has taken Shepard’s art is very conveniently laid out from picture to picture.

    I love the book. I’m a fan of Shepard Fairey and his book is wonderful, full of images on every page and a great look into his career and life as an artist, but a few days after I opened the book from its shrinkwrap, it started to curl or cup, making it a bit harder to flip through pages. This surprised me as it is a hardcovered book, and I don’t keep it in a wet environment.

    Aside from this frustrating phenomenon, the book is a great buy and a wonderful price on amazon compared to almost twice the price at retail stores.

    I gave a couple of copies away for Christmas and the response was amazing. Probably one of the best gift choices I ever made. Highly recommended for anyone in boardsports, art, design (of any kind!), photography, and anyone considering going to art school. It’s very inspiring and an easy 5 stars in my book.
