Boy did I miss this young dude and his music. You know how you feel when an artist you REALLY like falls off the map and later reappears again (still waiting on you, Outkast)? You feel so excited. I almost felt like I did when I was a teenage girl/early 20s woman waiting for the latest New Edition album, because I couldn’t wait to cop this CD. Granted, I’m in the 30+ age group (obviously talking about New Edition), but I really enjoy this young man’s music. This is a CD my 4 year-old, husband, my momma and I REALLY like. There is only 1 song on the deluxe version I could live without (For Ur Love – which my son loves), but I love all the other songs. Each song you hear a different, mature, and sometimes heartfelt Chris. This is a great CD and I will ALWAYS continue to support Chris.I will say that I hope other fans will give credit to his work and not let media fill our heads with lies…I personally know to well how the media works! I love this album by Chris Brown, and this was a great buy,
He has done great work on this C.D. and his Mixtape: “In My Zone”.

This kid REALLLLY has talent. Prior to this, although liking his music, I’d never bought an album of his. But I have to CONFESS… this is one of the BEST albums of the year for me!!!! I can play it all the way through without skipping and that almost NEVER HAPPENS! I do find myself getting “stuck” on a song and playing it repeatedly, but I can’t tell you which, because that choice changes depending on my mood. The critics are sooooooo WRONG/OFF. It would be laughable if the presence of bias, judgment and unfairness wasn’t so obvious and it didn’t actually affect this kids life. If you don’t get this album, you’re going to miss out. If the radio stopped playing the music of people who have done something wrong (even as a teenager, like he was), we would pretty much have NO MUSIC to listen to. I bought the international version so I could get the songs that weren’t released in the US (I luv “Girlfriend” with Lupe Fiasco- you can’t help but bounce around).

Chris Brown’s previous albums were trash, why bother even making another one? This one was just as bad as the others and i keep getting the feeling that they will just keep on getting worse. If you didn’t like Chris before, you definitely won’t like Chris now.
