Really a great overview of LA graffiti stretching from the old past to the almost-now present. Lots of the known names as well as some that you will not forget once you get this book. If you know of and appreciate Subway Art and want the second course, this is it and more. All photos are clear and well presented with excellent quotes that give insight into these artists’ methods and madness. Very Good layout with so much info and flicks that you can really open this book to any page and be drawn in. A nice balanced writing style that welcomes writers, enthusiasts, and newcomers alike. This book approaches Subway Art as one of the Bibles of graffiti art and will be a key element in pushing this art/vandalism form ahead into the future.

What to buy my boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary?
One year anniversary gift for fourteen year old boyfriend. HELP!?I’m fourteen years old and so is my boyfriend. I want to get him the greatest gift ever for our one year anniversary (and Christmas which coincidentally falls five days later) but I’m absolutely clueless. I quite admire people who make their own gifts but I’d rather purchase this one (although make your own suggestions are welcome). He’s interested in skateboarding and is one of the best artists I’ve ever seen. I’m interested in giving him one or more gifts. The Cd Graffiti Crew price is somewhat an issue but I can get a decent amount of money together by december. Any ideas for a one year anniversary gift or a christmas gift are greatly appreaciated. I was looking for something really meaningful and different. I hate it how everyone makes each other mix cds now a days. That’s thoughtful and all but SO overused. I’m looking more for something that you’d open up and think to yourself “that’s the sweetest and most thoughtful gift I’ve ever received” but that it’s also useful. As well, being the girl, I can’t really set up a dinner and pay for him and stuff. He’s usually the one to do that for me. And I realize that I’m only fourteen but I’m just about as sure as it gets that I’m in love. As long as the gift isn’t like $500 dollars, the sky is the limit. I’m not afraid of giving anything that shows love or commitment. We’ve been through a lot together during the past ten months and I’m ready to buy him a gift/gifts that really show him how much I care. I might make something as well. ThanksBy the way, when I say he’s amazing in art, his main interest is graffiti. He’s very talented at drawing anything though and at using all media
